With a growing collection of branded products, Kate decided to open her first store in 2016. Inspired by the passions and adventures of her hometown’s earliest entrepreneurs – the fishermen founders, Kate opened Local Color in Kennebunkport, Maine. A second, larger store was added in Portland in 2021. There you can find the entire range of Kate’s designs, complimented by her carefully curated selection of like-minded, fun, good vibe brands. Those include Rugged Seas, Mer-Sea, Wooden Ships, 727 Sail Bags, Batela, Billy Belt and Happy Socks to name a few.
